Thursday&#8217;s temps were about as hot as it can get in Kentucky during the month of June. Readings from 100-107 blanketed the state and the oven door remains wide open today. The hot and dry air hangs tough, but MAY have to fight off a stray shower or thunderstorm.<\/p>\n<p>High temps today should range from the upper 90s to mid 100s across the bluegrass state. That range is to account for the possibility of a few clouds or a shower or thunderstorm blowing up. Record highs will again be in jeopardy today and you can track it all here on the blog&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Current Temperatures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kymesonet.org\/wxmaps\/tair_f_large.png?nowtime=1325915126\" alt=\"\" width=\"479\" height=\"208\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Today\u2019s Highs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kymesonet.org\/wxmaps\/dtmx_large.png?nowtime=1325915695\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Keep an eye on Indiana and Ohio for the possibility of a few storms trying to fire and dive in here.<\/p>\n<p>A similar forecast plays out for Saturday with triple digits and a boomer possible.\u00a0 We should begin to see a bit of an increase in juice by late this weekend into much of next week.
