Good Sunday, everyone. We have another toasty temperature day taking shape across the Commonwealth, but storms may wind up taking center stage before the day is done. As a matter of fact, there is the potential for a few strong to severe storms through the evening.<\/p>\n

Highs today are back in the 85-90 degree range for many, with a heat index a little better than that. A weak boundary will sink a littler farther south today, touching off a few rounds of showers and thunderstorms. The greatest severe weather threat is across the northern half of the state. Large hail and damaging winds are the primary threats from any of the big boomers. I will have your tracking toys in a bit.<\/p>\n

Memorial Day will find that boundary still hanging around the north and east and that could fire off a few more clusters of showers and storms…<\/p>\n

Once again, a few strong storms will be possible and could crash your cookouts.<\/p>\n

A fairly stout cold front may cross the region late Wednesday or Thursday, touching off another round of storms…<\/p>\n

Temperatures behind that front will be cooler than where we are now, with another shot of cooler air likely arriving during the first full week of June.<\/p>\n
