Good Wednesday, everyone. We have another active weather day taking shape across Kentucky as rounds of thunderstorms rumble through here. The pattern is favorable for some strong to severe thunderstorms causing issues into much of the Ohio Valley, including Kentucky.<\/p>\n

Today’s storms will come at us in rounds, potentially bringing damaging winds and large hail. I can’t rule out a quick tornado spin up or two, especially across the northern half of the state. Here’s today’s Severe Weather Outlook from the Storm Prediction Center…<\/p>\n

Additional waves of showers and thunderstorms work across the state on Thursday. A strong storm or two will be possible as a cold front slides in. Low-level moisture looks to hang around into Friday and that should touch off a few showers and isolated thunderstorms. Temps may not get out of the 70s.<\/p>\n

Another front drops in this weekend and could bring a few more showers and storms with it. This carves out a deep trough across the eastern part of the country…<\/p>\n

That leads to a much better brand of air around here through early next week. Some of the models are showing an even deeper trough later next week…<\/p>\n
