<\/p>\nGood Thursday, folks. It’s shaping up to be another bumpy ride of a day across Kentucky as more rounds of showers and storms work through. A few of these storms may be strong or severe and put down torrential rains at times.<\/p>\n
The main threat from today’s storms will be damaging winds and large hail. The tornado threat isn’t zero, but it’s fairly low. Here’s the current Severe Weather Outlook from the Storm Prediction Center…<\/p>\n

While the bluegrass state has only gotten a small taste of the severe weather this month, areas form the plains states through the northern\u00a0Ohio Valley have been pounded.\u00a0 What’s the reason for this relentless severe weather? Look no further than the temperature extremes over the past 10 days…<\/p>\n
That is absolutely incredible and may be one of the more extreme looking maps you will ever see. Just Wow!<\/p>\n As we look ahead, this extreme pattern looks to flip around as we head into June. Cold fronts are actually going to drop into the eastern half of the country during this time.<\/p>\n But, before we get to June, we have one more day left of May.
