Good Wednesday, folks. The threat for severe thunderstorms will increase later today into tonight as a system moves our way from the west. This also means the threat for flooding and flash flooding will continue across the entire region. This continues to be part of an overall very stormy and wet setup across Kentucky.<\/p>\n

Let’s begin with today. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will go up through the early afternoon, with the main action kicking in later today into tonight. Strong to severe storms will develop just to our west and roll eastward into Kentucky. Here’s today’s Severe Weather Outlook from the Storm Prediction Center…<\/p>\n

Thursday will feature more rounds of heavy rain producing showers and thunderstorms that will likely cause more high water issues.<\/p>\n

A small break in the action shows up on Friday, but clusters of strong thunderstorms will quickly fire back up and dive in here from the northwest. The first may arrive Friday night and early Saturday…<\/p>\n

That would introduce another flood and flash flood threat this weekend into early next week.<\/p>\n
