Good Saturday, folks. It’s another hot and humid day across the bluegrass state, but a major change is on the way. This comes in the form of a fall-like cold front slamming in here on Monday, bringing heavy rain and strong storms ahead of it, and a late September brand of air behind it.<\/p>\n

Temps today are similar to what we had on Friday with highs generally in the low 90s with a heat index topping 100 for many. Scattered showers and storms may blossom in the heat and humidity, especially across the south and southeast…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Showers and storms will really increase on Sunday as a cold front nears from the northwest. These showers and storms may be on the strong side and put down torrential rains.<\/p>\n

That continues into Monday as the front arrives…<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Once again, a cold front like this typically squeezes out some big storms. Local high water issues will continue to be possible.<\/p>\n

MUCH cooler air comes in here behind that front as the numbers go way below normal…<\/p>\n
