<\/p>\nGood Thursday, everyone. A cold front is dropping into the state today, bringing the potential for strong storms and heavy rains. This isn’t an all day type of deal, but the storms that do crank will be packing a punch as the front slows down right on top of us. This means the storm threat continues into Friday, but it also means some pleasant temps show up.<\/p>\n
As mentioned, today’s storms may be strong or even severe at times. High winds and hail are the usual suspects and the Storm Prediction Center has the low-end risk for much of the area…<\/p>\n

The cold front slowly presses to the south on Friday, keeping scattered showers and storms going. The best chance is along and south of Interstate 64. Cooler air is right behind the front and this looks delightful as we kick off the weekend. This front is going to try and push a little farther south for Saturday, giving us mainly dry weather and awesome temps. Highs may not get out of the 70s for some. Overnight lows this weekend should reach deep into the 50s…<\/p>\n
Temps rebound quickly by Sunday afternoon as a few showers and storms begin to stream back in from the southwest.
