Good Friday, everyone. We’ve made it to November and our pattern continues to look pretty darn cold for this time of year and may even include more winter weather chances. All of this following a wild month of October across the Commonwealth and surrounding states.<\/p>\n

Let’s start things out with today and roll forward. The morning may begin with some lingering clouds across the eastern half of the state. Those clouds may hang around long enough to keep temps lower in the east than everywhere else. Most areas are in the 40s for highs today.<\/p>\n

Another cold front drops in here on Saturday. This is a moisture starved boundary, but may have just enough juice to kick off a rain or snow shower across the north at some point.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>One more front makes a run at us late on Election Day, but it’s the system coming in behind it that I have my eye on. This one could bring a major shot or arctic air into the central and eastern parts of the country by late next week into the following weekend…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The arctic front dropping in may be accompanied by a wave of low pressure that could bring a winter weather threat…<\/p>\n

Canadian…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>ICON<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The longer range models continue to keep a colder look. The Canadian Ensembles through the middle of November keeps the cold shots coming…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The European Ensembles do the same and show snow chances pretty far south during the same time…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

If we look into November as a whole, the CFS Model has temps solidly below normal for much of the country…<\/p>\n
