Good evening, folks. Cold fronts are on the way as our overall weather pattern threatens to head straight into winter in November. That comes as some serious cold shots take aim at the bluegrass state, with next week potentially taking us close to record numbers.<\/p>\n

Our first front brings a few showers in here early election day, but that moves away very quickly. That leaves us with nice weather later in the day and into Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Our Thursday into Thursday night system continues to finally show up on the American models. The NAM is picking up on this…<\/p>\n

The European Model shows a stripe of some light snow across the far north with this system…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Regardless, this is already the 2nd time we’ve been talking about some flakes this season.<\/p>\n

The cold air coming in is impressive. Temps drop quickly from north to south Thursday afternoon and evening and wind up in the low 20s by Friday morning…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Wind chills are likely deep into the teens Thursday night.<\/p>\n

Saturday is a seasonally cold day with our next system zipping in here later Sunday and Monday. That’s a true arctic front that will likely have a band of light snow behind it. There may even be a little wave of low pressure along this boundary and could be followed by another winter weather maker a few days later. Here’s the European Model showing all that…<\/p>\n
