We have quite the temperature spread taking shape across Kentucky today. Temps in the west and north are pretty cold, while the south and southeast are just chilly. This contrast likely carries us into the start of the weekend, but it&#8217;s next week that we are focusing on.<\/p>\n<p>The east coast storm system won&#8217;t influence our weather, but a series of systems diving in behind it will. That could bring a few light rain or rain\/snow showers in here early next week&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/GFS-24.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-38268\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/GFS-24.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"786\" \/><\/a>The setup I&#8217;m more interested in is from late next week through early Thanksgiving week. The pattern is primed for a couple of big storm systems that can produce winter weather.
