It&#8217;s a seasonally cold evening across he bluegrass state as we watch a weak front drop in on Wednesday. This front isn&#8217;t a big deal and the focus is on the pattern coming in behind this. It&#8217;s a pattern that will have a southern storm system that has a chance to impact our weather. It&#8217;s also a much milder look.<\/p>\n<p>Once again, numerous Flood Warnings continue across Kentucky&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"jetpack-lazy-image jetpack-lazy-image--handled\" src=\"http:\/\/gray.ftp.clickability.com\/wkytwebftp\/WEBWARNINGS.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-lazy-loaded=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s focus on the southern storm system this weekend. The operational models largely keep this to our south, but the ensembles are farther north.<\/p>\n<p>Euro Ensembles<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/EURO-2-4.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-39272\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/EURO-2-4.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a>GFS Ensembles<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/GFS-41.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-39273\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/GFS-41.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a>The NAVY Model is one of the operational models bringing this farther north&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/navy.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-39274\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/navy.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"786\" \/><\/a>We will see how that goes, but I&#8217;m not ready to write that off as missing us to the south. It could easily bring some rain in here by Sunday or Monday.<\/p>\n<p>White Christmas fans aren&#8217;t happy campers, right now as the pattern is skewing above normal into much of next week.
