Good afternoon, everyone. It’s a rather boring pattern ahead as things turn much milder across much of the country, just in time for Christmas. There is a southern storm system for us to keep a close eye on, and I’m also watching the end of next week for some changes to show up.<\/p>\n

Let’s talk about the only thing we have to track between now and Christmas and that’s our southern storm system. This is a big storm for the south, but it may get close enough to throw a little rain into southern and eastern Kentucky by Sunday. The NAM continues to show this…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Canadian Model is similar…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The GFS is one model showing this not even getting close to Kentucky…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>That doesn’t even bring rain into Tennessee. NOAA should put this poor model out of its misery and pull the plug. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

It’s interesting to note how the Canadian is knocking the temps down very quickly right after Christmas…<\/p>\n
