Our first weak system is pushing out of southeastern Kentucky as we now start to focus on the next one. This looks to impact our weather on Wednesday, but to what extent? That&#8217;s the million dollar question of the day.<\/p>\n<p>The NAM continues to be the most aggressive in bringing a swath of light snow in from west to east&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/NAM-23.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-40270\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/NAM-23.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a>The lone model support continues to come from the ICON&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/ICON-4.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-40272\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/ICON-4.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"786\" \/><\/a>The GFS continues to want no part of this as it wipes out most of the precipitation before it crosses the state&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/GFS-48.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-40269\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/GFS-48.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a>That said, the model does show a little more precip hanging tough compared to prior runs.<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian continues to keep the southern system way to our south, but keeps a little bit of energy lagging behind across the region&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/canadian-26.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-40267\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/canadian-26.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a>The Canadian has a similar thought process&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/canadian-2-4.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-40274\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/canadian-2-4.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a>A quick surge of mild air follows that up by Monday, but the models are insistent on another attempt at a pattern realignment.
