Good Thursday, everyone. It’s another windy and fairly mild day, but a cold front looks to take care of that later tonight. That will bring a shot of cold air in here for Friday and it could even bring some flakes across the eastern half of the state. This will be followed by a milder pattern for the weekend, with more wet weather next week.<\/p>\n

5 years ago today, we were still getting slammed by the second of back to back historic snowstorms. Take a trip down memory lane…<\/p>\n

Today finds a mix of sun and clouds with temps making a run at 60 once again. A mix of sun and clouds will be noted as winds increase ahead of our evening front. There may be a broken line of showers along this front, especially across central and eastern Kentucky.<\/p>\n

A strong northwest flow sets up behind this front late tonight into Friday. That’s likely to crank out some flurries and snow showers across central and eastern Kentucky. We may even see some light accumulations in the east with a lot of snow falling across the high ground of the West Virginia mountains…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Saturday looks much better with a cold start and better afternoon. Temps make a run at the low 50s with a mostly sunny sky. Sunday looks even better with highs reaching the 60s with more sunshine. Overall, the weather looks awesome!<\/p>\n

Rain and some thunderstorms work back in here by Monday, setting us up with another pretty wet looking setup. It’s also a milder than normal look, too.<\/p>\n
