We continue with our run of colder than normal temps, but the pattern is showing signs of slowly shifting around again. This is a process that will likely take us from skewing colder than normal to warm and fairly humid as we get ready to flip the calendar from April to May.<\/p>\n<p>Temps are back below the freezing mark to begin the day and will wind up in the 50s this afternoon. Outside of the chill in the air, today&#8217;s actually a pretty nice one.<\/p>\n<p>A cold front works into the region late Friday and will give us a healthy temperature spread from north to south.\u00a0 A quick shot of 70 is possible in the south as the north reaches the 50s before dropping late&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Euro-11.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-41745\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Euro-11.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"968\" height=\"758\" \/><\/a>Gusty showers and a rumble of thunder will be possible with late Friday with that system rolling out quickly Saturday morning&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/EURO-10.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-41742\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/EURO-10.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a>That&#8217;s bringing a snowstorm to the northern Ohio Valley and I can&#8217;t rule out a flake around here as the rain ends. The rest of Saturday looks and feels better.<\/p>\n<p>The Sunday-Monday system does bring a few showers our way, but the models are less organized with it than earlier&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/EURO-2-7.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-41743\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/EURO-2-7.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a>Temps next week are much milder than what we&#8217;ve been dealing with this week and could even hit the 70s for a day or two. We are likely to see another shower and thunderstorm maker rolling in here by the middle of the week&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/EURO-3-3.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-41744\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/EURO-3-3.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a>The pattern is likely to flip much warmer than normal as we head into the final week of April.
