Good Tuesday everyone and thanks for making KWC your online source for Kentucky weather. A much different weather pattern is taking hold of the state for the rest of the week it it’s one that will bring rounds of storms with it. Milder temps will also give us a break from the recent round of frosty cold readings.<\/p>\n

The first round of storms will work across the state today as warmer air shoots in from the west and southwest. It’s not going to be a complete washout, but take the umbrella to be safe.<\/p>\n

The threat for showers and storms today will make for a difficult temp forecast as we should have a fairly wide range.Most areas will flirt with or exceed 70 degrees, but those with storms may have a tough time getting out of the 60s.<\/p>\n

Rounds of showers and storms will continue to fire across the Mississippi River Valley and roll eastward across the region through Friday. Check out the rainfall numbers from the HPC…<\/p>\n

Highs this week will generally run in the mid and upper 70s and may hit 80.<\/p>\n

Cooler changes are lurking by the weekend as temps take a tumble for Saturday and Sunday. That may mean another weekend where temps don’t get out of the 60s for highs. What about the rain chance? The setup looks like one where we can get some showers to go up. There’s also the chance for an area of low pressure to develop and work through the region late weekend into early next week.<\/p>\n
