Good Monday, folks. We are coming off a super-soaker of a weekend as showers and thunderstorms put down tremendous amounts of rain. Unfortunately, more rounds of showers and storms are rumbling across the region for the next few days. That keeps our flood threat and flash flood threat going.<\/p>\n

We will continue to see more rounds of showers and storms developing and working from northwest to southeast across the area through the next few days, at least. Flash Flood Watches should be extended for much of the state…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Some areas have already picked up 4″-8″ of rain since Saturday, so it simply won’t take much to cause additional flooding issues.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, that’s exactly what we will be seeing out there today and into Tuesday. Here are the areas most at risk…<\/p>\n

The NAM Rainfall Forecast through Wednesday is a pretty good match for that…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>No, it’s not going to rain all the time, but it’s going to absolutely open up when it does. The clusters of thunderstorms may not fire up over the exact same areas as before, but repeat action will be possible.<\/p>\n

This whole setup has been covered extensively on KWC for much of the past week or so. While the rest of the local weather world was fixated on dust, we’ve been busy preparing you for the potential of too much rain. That’s why you guys come here… right? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Rounds of showers and storms continue into Wednesday, but the action may become much more scattered for the 4th of July weekend. It looks like typical summertime readings with high humidity levels. .<\/p>\n
