A few storms are flaring up out there and this is a precursor to what&#8217;s ahead for us in the coming days. We continue to watch the increasing threat for rounds of heavy rain and thunderstorms across much of our region.<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s storms are fairly scattered, but can still pack a punch. One or two could be strong and put down enough rain for local high water issues. These will bring waves of heavy rain producing showers and storms. That may keep our tropical system just east of us.
