I wanted to drop by for a quickie update on the taste of September settling into the region. This is a pattern we have yapped about for a while, so it&#8217;s good to see Mother Nature delivering the goods.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s comfy today with a big blue sky for many folks. Our next front works in here later tonight and Tuesday, bringing a round of showers and storms. Lows will drop deep into the 50s on a few occasions. I&#8217;m wondering if we can get a Kentucky Mesonet site all the way down to 50 degrees? That&#8217;s possible.<\/p>\n<p>Given the pattern I&#8217;m seeing, the tropics are likely to become very active once again.
