Rounds of light snow, snow showers and snow squalls continue to highlight the weekend forecast. Each round will put down light accumulations through Monday with many areas picking up a few inches before all is said and done. Overall, this is a wintry weekend in the bluegrass state.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a review of how things play out:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our day starts with a wave of light snow rolling across the state, putting down enough accumulation to cause slick travel for some.<\/li>\n<li>By the afternoon, we find ourselves between systems with just some flakes flying.<\/li>\n<li>The next round of light snow quickly drops in from the northwest this evening.<\/li>\n<li>Another potent upper level low moves in here later Sunday and takes us into Monday morning. That may have the heaviest bursts of snow with it.<\/li>\n<li>Light is the key word with all this, but the total numbers should wind up in the 1&#8243;-3&#8243; range through Monday. Locally higher amounts will show up, especially in the mountains.<\/li>\n<li>Again, these are cumulative numbers we are talking here.<\/li>\n<li>Road conditions will alternate from good to not so good based on each of the weekend snow bursts coming through any one location. The models continue to trend south as the cold to the north starts to show up more and more.
