Good afternoon, folks. It’s another cold day with some flurries and snow showers flying across the region, but the focus is on another round of light snow coming tonight. This looks to mainly impact the northern half of the state with a light snowfall.<\/p>\n

Here’s a look at this system via the future radar from the Hi Res NAM…<\/p>\n

Up to an inch of snow may fall in north of Interstate 64. Here are some of the model totals…<\/p>\n

Skies by Tuesday afternoon becomes partly sunny with temps much milder in the south than the north. Another front drops in Tuesday night and Wednesday with a period of snow showers and flurries as colder air comes in.<\/p>\n

The pattern ahead continues to feature colder air pressing south and that’s taking the storm track with it. Instead of big storms cutting to the lakes, we’re now seeing the models with more of a west-east track showing up.<\/p>\n
