As the snow continues to fall across much of the state, wanted to drop by for a very quick update on the current setup and the one coming in for the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The snow shield continues to work across central and eastern Kentucky and some areas may top the 4&#8243; mark before all is said and done. This will be within my forecast area of 1&#8243;-4&#8243; showing up, so it&#8217;s good to see some of those higher totals in there. Farther southeast, the high ground may pick up 5&#8243;+ along the Virginia border.<\/p>\n<p>Roads are a mess. Watch for a thumper snow and mix on the front end Saturday evening into Saturday night for some.
