It&#8217;s a windy and warm day across the Commonwealth as we watch a cold front drop in from the northwest. This may touch off some strong to severe storms across much of the region.<\/p>\n<p>The Storm Prediction Center has a low-end risk for severe storms&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/public\/state\/images\/KY_swody1.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Damaging winds and large hail will be the primary players.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the severe threat, heavy rains will be likely and this could cause a few local high water issues through the first half of Friday.
