<\/p>\nGood Saturday to one and all. It continues to be a very active start to the weekend with rounds of severe storms and heavy rains targeting the region. The Friday night storms caused all kinds of issues in the region and some of those carry over into today.<\/p>\n
Flash flooding and wind damage have been common with the Friday night storms and this lingers into this morning. The northern half of the state has been hardest hit and that looks to be the case again today. Once the morning stuff clears out, we may see another complex of strong to severe storms working in later today. Here’s the current Severe Weather Outlook from the Storm Prediction Center…<\/p>\n

Again, not everyone sees storms today. Outside of the storms, temps are back into the typical summer range.<\/p>\n
At the same time, our tropical system continues to work across parts of the south. The track on this will likely stay to our south and southeast through Sunday…<\/p>\n

Back here on the Bluegrass Ranch, Sunday is steamy with a few storms going up. The storm action will then rapidly increase as we head into Monday as a very strong cold front drops in here from the northwest…<\/p>\n
That unleashes another September feel for the middle of next week. Highs in the 70s with lows in the 50s look good for Tuesday and Wednesday with very low humidity.
