It&#8217;s another calm day across the Commonwealth as our temps continue to run on the comfy side of summer for a few more days. By the time we hit the weekend, summer starts to flex a little and may do so even more into the final week of the month. But, thunderstorms may attempt to cut the heat off at the pass.<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s temps range from the low 80s for much of central and eastern Kentucky to the middle 80s or a touch better in the west. The air in the east is feeling good! Skies will continue to have a little haze and some smoke shows up aloft as much of the country continues to see the smoky sky from those western fires&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/SMOKE-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-49524\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/SMOKE-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1047\" height=\"721\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/SMOKE-1.png 1047w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/SMOKE-1-300x207.png 300w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/SMOKE-1-1024x705.png 1024w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/SMOKE-1-768x529.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1047px) 100vw, 1047px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Temps tonight drop into the 50s for much of central and eastern Kentucky&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/GFS-TEMPS-5.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-49527\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/GFS-TEMPS-5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"961\" height=\"755\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s well below normal for this time of year. Friday afternoon still will feature some warmer air pushing back in, but it&#8217;s really comfy still. Isolated storms may also go up in the west.<\/p>\n<p>The weekend finds an increase in temps and humidity levels.
