Good afternoon, everyone. It’s another dreary day across the region as we get set for a big fall storm system to roll right on top of us. This will bring gusty winds, rain and temps that take a big tumble toward late October readings.<\/p>\n

Overall, this has been a well behaved setup that hasn’t thrown me any curveballs. You can see how the low wraps up on top of us before it lifts northward toward the Great Lakes late Wednesday into early Thursday…<\/p>\n

To be honest, this looks a lot like a wintertime setup.<\/p>\n

Winds behind this low will be stout and could reach 30-40mph at times across western and central Kentucky…<\/p>\n

This happens as temps drop into the low and mid 50s Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Temps by Thursday morning drop into the 40s where skies clear and stay in the 50s where clouds and lingering showers hold. It’s Friday morning that will take our numbers way, way down. Look at these lows from the NAM…<\/p>\n
