A powerful cold front continues to sweep eastward across the region and it&#8217;s bringing very chilly air with it. As the temps drop, it&#8217;s time to turn our attention toward the next big system rolling in here later in the week. That one is a big ticket item.<\/p>\n<p>The front continues to push through eastern Kentucky and it&#8217;s bringing a few more showers and isolated storms ahead of it. Behind it comes some wraparound showers and areas of drizzle across central and eastern Kentucky through the evening. Where clouds linger through Tuesday afternoon, highs only reach the upper 40s to low 50s. Where the sun pops out, temps stay in the 50s.<\/p>\n<p>This sets the stage for the potential of our first freezing temps of the fall by Wednesday morning.
