Wait&#8230; What? How on earth have we made it to the month of November already?? For winter weather lovers, this is the month that gets things off and running as it usually gives us the first flakes of the season. Can we get some right out of the gate this week? The chance is there, but it&#8217;s the much colder than normal temps taking center stage.<\/p>\n<p>Clouds will increase on our Monday with temps generally in the 50s. Winds will gust up ahead of a cold front moving in here later this evening through Tuesday. This will have a band of quick-hitting shower with it and there&#8217;s a small chance for a flake or two to mix in. Check out the temp animation from the NAM form 8am-8pm Wednesday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/NAM-2-8.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-50772\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/NAM-2-8.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>From here, we continue to watch a southern stream system that the models continue to keep suppressed with only a glancing blow across southeastern Kentucky&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Canadian<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Canadian.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-50775\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Canadian.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>GFS<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GFS.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-50776\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GFS.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>EURO<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-2.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-50789\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-2.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The cold temps are the main story with this setup with a few days staying in the 40s for highs. While that may not sound &#8220;cold&#8221;, it certainly is in relation to normal highs that should be in the low 60s this week.<\/p>\n<p>Lows are deep into the 20s on more than one morning.
