It&#8217;s another amazing fall afternoon in the bluegrass state and we have one more to go before the big change takes place. My thoughts on this setup haven&#8217;t changed at all, but I wanted to give an update on how the models are seeing things.<\/p>\n<p>Before we get to the change, there is still the slightest chance for a shower or two going up this evening in the west and north. Chances are low, but your friendly radars are here to keep you company&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/builder.zoomradar.net\/zoomradar_weather_map\/weather_page.php?key=dlFZs5IY4VCw7bK\" width=\"560\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" seamless=\"seamless\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.accuweather.com\/radar-large.asp?partner=netweather&amp;traveler=0&amp;site=KY_&amp;type=SIR&amp;anim=1&amp;level=state&amp;large=1#\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"jetpack-lazy-image jetpack-lazy-image--handled lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" usemap=\"#largemap\" data-src=\"https:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" data-lazy-loaded=\"1\" \/><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not going to rehash all my thoughts from the prior posts, so y&#8217;all will have to go back and read for those. &#x1f913;&#x1f913;&#x1f601;<\/p>\n<p>We do get two systems in here from Thursday through Monday. The first arrives in the form of a strong cold front on Thursday and the models are really straightforward on how they play it. They do differ a little backlash shower or flake action Friday night and Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian continues to show a few showers and a flake or two behind this&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Canadian-12.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-50963\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Canadian-12.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The EURO is trending that way&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-14.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-50966\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-14.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The GFS continues to be the most progressive&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GFS-17.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-50956\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GFS-17.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It is picking up on the gusty wind potential and shows gusts in excess of 40mph&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GFS-6.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-50957\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GFS-6.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"967\" height=\"756\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GFS-6.png 967w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GFS-6-300x235.png 300w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GFS-6-768x600.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 967px) 100vw, 967px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The NAM only goes through 1am Saturday, but you can see it starting to show a little bit of wraparound rain and snow showers in here&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/NAM-3.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-50968\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/NAM-3.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The second system looks more like a clipper diving in from the northwest Sunday and Monday. This one brings a swath of rain and snow across the Ohio Valley and Kentucky has a chance to get in on both.<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian is rather aggressive with this&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Canadian-2-6.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-50962\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Canadian-2-6.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The EURO is more aggressive than the last run of the model&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-2-6.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-50965\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-2-6.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The GFS is a little farther north with the clipper, but it&#8217;s finally showing some snow showers behind it&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GFS-2-13.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-50959\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GFS-2-13.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Moral of the weather story: We have two chances for some flakes this weekend.
