All eyes continue to be on what&#8217;s going on next week and there continues to be&#8230; well&#8230; a lot going on. A series of systems will impact our weather and a few of them should be on the wintry side.<\/p>\n<p>The models are still trying to come together and are still\u00a0a day or two away from having a good handle on things. The GFS has shown everything from a major storm to no storm for us early next week&#8230; and that&#8217;s just with runs over the past 24 hours. The afternoon run of the model is starting to come around, but is still too far east with the system.<\/p>\n<p>The latest run shows light snow breaking out around here Monday night into Tuesday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/GFS16.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5106\" title=\"GFS\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/GFS16.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"460\" height=\"605\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/GFS16.png 460w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/GFS16-228x300.png 228w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 460px) 100vw, 460px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The GFS Ensembles mean is also starting to pick up on the east coast storm&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/GFS-29.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5107\" title=\"GFS 2\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/GFS-29.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"652\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/GFS-29.png 652w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/GFS-29-300x155.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 652px) 100vw, 652px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t be surprised to see both show a farther west solution in the coming days.<\/p>\n<p>The European Model continues to show a farther westward storm, but is weaker than what it was showing before&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Euro13.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5108\" title=\"Euro\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Euro13.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"556\" height=\"416\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Euro13.png 556w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Euro13-300x224.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 556px) 100vw, 556px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can also see another system diving in from the northwest by next Thursday.
