The first light snows of the season fell this morning in many areas of the region and we have a few more on the way tonight. Here&#8217;s a look at the future radar from the Hi Res NAM&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/NAM-15.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-51164\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/NAM-15.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Wind chills from this evening through Monday morning can reach the upper teens at times&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/NAM-3-4.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-51163\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/NAM-3-4.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This sets the stage for a very blustery Monday as we get set for a milder wind to kick in for Tuesday. Can we get a touch of rain and snow shower ahead of that milder wind Monday night in the north? That&#8217;s possible and it shows up on the Hi Res NAM&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/NAM-2-7.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-51162\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/NAM-2-7.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Temps for Tuesday and Wednesday turn mild ahead of another strong cold front dropping in here by Thursday. This brings a gusty band of rain with it and there&#8217;s a chance for a few flakes to mix in right behind the front as colder air works in&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-4-4.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-51168\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-4-4.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The setup for Thanksgiving Week continues to look rather cold for much of the country. The EURO continues to bring arctic air into the country&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-6-2.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-51170\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-6-2.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It does so with a couple of potential snow systems&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-5-2.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-51169\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-5-2.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Last night&#8217;s EURO Ensembles went back toward showing arctic air diving into the country&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-26.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-51161\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-26.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-2-16.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-51159\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-2-16.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Control run turned even colder&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-3-8.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-51160\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-3-8.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Some interesting signals are showing up during this time and I wouldn&#8217;t be surprised to see a big time winter storm system develop.<\/p>\n<p>I may drop by for another update this evening, so check back.
