That&#8217;s the first of two fronts on tap as we head into Thanksgiving week with the next one looking to show up on Turkey Day.<\/p>\n<p>The Sunday system is likely to produce widespread rain across Kentucky as winds gust up. This is a cold front dropping in here and the models are now showing up with a similar scenario. You get the cold front with rain and maybe some flakes behind it Thursday and early Black Friday&#8230; and a clipper type system trying to follow that up for the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The EURO shows some flake action for Thanksgiving Night&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-42.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-51351\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/EURO-42.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the GFS with the front and the weak clipper coming behind it&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GFS-44.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-51348\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GFS-44.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The numbers with this setup are well below normal once again&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GFS-2-30.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-51347\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GFS-2-30.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Canadian has a similar look&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Canadian-36.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-51349\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Canadian-36.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Overall, this is a much colder than normal Thanksgiving week and this has been something talked about here since the start of the month.
