My time is limited but I wanted to stop by for a quick update on our winter storm and ice storm hitting the region Thursday and Friday. This will be a major hit in our part of the world.<\/p>\n<p>A Winter Storm Warning is already out in the west with a Winter Storm Watch for much of the rest of the state&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"css-9pa8cd\" draggable=\"true\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FKiydyTXsAUhy24?format=png&amp;name=900x900\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Much of this will get upgraded a Winter Storm Warning and Ice Storm Warning later tonight. I would expect some additional counties to be added to this across the south with a likely Winter Weather Advisory for the rest.<\/p>\n<p>This is a super messy storm loaded with moisture, so pinpointing totals of each precipitation type is a challenge. The placement is also a challenge, but here&#8217;s a First Call&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"css-9pa8cd\" draggable=\"true\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FKiyl1WXIAQ6Kic?format=jpg&amp;name=medium\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This will be a major impact in terms of freezing rain and we are likely to see, at least, some power outages&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"css-9pa8cd\" draggable=\"true\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FKiymtYWYAUTPWh?format=png&amp;name=900x900\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The GFS has been the most consistent with this storm and the EURO seems to be trending closer to it of late.
