It&#8217;s a nice looking day across the region, but the focus of the forecast is on the cold front arriving over the weekend. This will likely have a little light snow behind it, but can we get a wave of low pressure to develop along it?<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s windy over the next few days as a few systems drop in from the northwest. These are moisture starved with some pretty good temp swings with them.<\/p>\n<p>The main front arrives early Saturday and has a nice shot of cold air coming in behind it. A touch of some light rain may be ahead of the front, but much of the moisture is likely along and behind it. This is where a band of light accumulating snows may set up.<\/p>\n<p>The GFS shows this well&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FLFpS_jX0AMwnRU?format=jpg&amp;name=large\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Canadian also has a light snow band during the same time&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FLFwwMrXMAI-fsQ?format=jpg&amp;name=large\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The EURO has light rain to a touch of light snow&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"css-9pa8cd\" draggable=\"true\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FLGLyp3XsAkihc_?format=jpg&amp;name=large\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One of the reasons this system is so progressive is because of the clipper showing up right behind it for Monday. That looks a little stronger on each run.
