Our weekend is off and running on a cold and flakey note, but much better weather is on the way for the weekend and next week. As a matter of fact, the pattern to start March is looking really nice.<\/p>\n<p>Flurries and snow showers have been flying across the region today and a few more will fly into the evening. I can&#8217;t rule out a rooftop duster for some areas, but this isn&#8217;t a big deal. Can this throw a little rain or snow into the south and southeast? Maybe. The GFS likes the idea&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"css-9pa8cd\" draggable=\"true\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FMdrZ46WYAErOol?format=png&amp;name=medium\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The EURO says this stays just to the south of the border&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"css-9pa8cd\" draggable=\"true\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FMdrYa9WYBIRcN1?format=png&amp;name=medium\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Either way, this works in and out very quickly by Sunday morning. Areas to the north make a run toward 50 while the south may stay chillier because of clouds from that system.<\/p>\n<p>Temps rebound into the 50s on the final day of February and may make a run at 60 for the first day of March&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"css-9pa8cd\" draggable=\"true\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FMdrbywXMAAjIWK?format=png&amp;name=medium\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Temps remain mild but may come back a few degrees in the north and east as a system passes by to our north. That keeps our skies dry and windy.<\/p>\n<p>Temps really take off late next week into the weekend and will likely make a run at 70&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"css-9pa8cd\" draggable=\"true\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FMdsZYRXIAEbB7R?format=png&amp;name=medium\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s ahead of our next chance for rain and thunderstorms arriving at some point during the first weekend in March.
