Good Wednesday to one and all. Our weather is absolutely gorgeous out there today and things look nice through the end of the week. Once into the weekend, stormy changes show up and these changes kick off another active setup as winter stages a mid-month return.<\/p>\n

Today marks the 10 year anniversary of one of the worst tornado outbreaks in Kentucky history. March 2nd, 2012 spawned a series of deadly tornadoes across the state with towns like West Liberty and Salyersville being leveled.<\/p>\n

It’s really hard to believe it’s now been 10 years since that tornado outbreak.<\/p>\n

The weather out there today is much much different with plenty of sun and temps deep into the 60s. The occasional 70 may show up in the west and north.<\/p>\n

A weak front settles in tonight with temps dropping in a big way from north to south. Highs Thursday may be 20 degrees apart from north to south across the state…<\/p>\n

Temps then rebound quickly on Friday with the 60s back in town. That push of milder air REALLY settles in for the weekend with temps in the 70s…<\/p>\n

This will be ahead of a cold front that brings a scattered storm risk for Saturday with more widespread showers and storms on Sunday…<\/p>\n

That front slows down with another round of showers and storms coming along for the ride into Monday…<\/p>\n

Throw in another a few days later…<\/p>\n

This is the stormy setup I’ve been talking about and it brings another threat for too much rain into the region.<\/p>\n

This is ahead of another very cold pattern settling into the country as winter takes control once again. The models are spitting out some MUCH colder than normal numbers into the middle of the month…<\/p>\n
