It&#8217;s a little colder across the region today, but much milder air is ready to move in for the weekend. As a matter of fact, this will be a full blown case of spring fever. You better enjoy it because things change in a hurry as winter stages a comeback.<\/p>\n<p>Temps today range from the 40s in the north to the 60s in the south and west with partly cloudy skies.<\/p>\n<p>Milder wind then surge back in here for Friday with numbers in the 60s for many. That southwest wind will really kick in for Saturday with temps deep into the 70s for most of the state. There&#8217;s a small threat for a storm or two in the west.<\/p>\n<p>Temps stay very mild on Sunday, but some scattered showers and storms move in through the day. This is ahead of a much stronger system that impacts the region on Monday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"css-9pa8cd\" draggable=\"true\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FM3nudJWYAMVaJL?format=jpg&amp;name=large\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Strong storms and heavy rain will be possible Monday into Monday evening and that&#8217;s something to keep a close eye on. Rainfall numbers are way up there&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"css-9pa8cd\" draggable=\"true\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FM5d3sUXwAUoQSx?format=png&amp;name=medium\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s just a little farther north of the area I started highlighting about a week ago&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FMi7n5FXoAk5xVy?format=png&amp;name=900x900\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Much colder air then comes in behind this and there&#8217;s a chance for some flakes to fly on Tuesday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"css-9pa8cd\" draggable=\"true\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FM5d5BGXIAI1ETT?format=png&amp;name=medium\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This kicks off a pattern that will look and feel a lot like winter that&#8217;s likely to hang around for a few weeks. Temps are expected to go MUCH below normal late next week.
