We have another very mild spring-like day out there as we invite a new guest to the party. Rounds of showers and storms rumble in and some of them could be strong. This kicks off a stormy setup through Monday as we continue to watch for the return of a winter pattern later next week.<\/p>\n<p>Temps out there today are in the 60s with a 70 possible for areas seeing a little sun. Scattered showers and storms push in, but this isn&#8217;t all day rain and not everyone sees the action. Areas that do will get in on heavy rains and very gusty winds. The Storm Prediction Center has a risk for severe storms across much of the state&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/public\/state\/images\/KY_swody1.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Damaging wind is the main threat from any storm that goes up.<\/p>\n<p>The risk the focuses farther east across the rest of the state on Monday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/public\/state\/images\/KY_swody2.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Damaging winds are the main player with any storm that goes up, but there&#8217;s also the small risk for a tornado or two to spin up.<\/p>\n<p>The Hi Res NAM has some impressive wind gusts showing up&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FNIzHGKX0AA5sq7?format=png&amp;name=medium\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Much colder winds blow behind this system on Tuesday as we watch another system coming from the south on Wednesday. That will be a system that likely stays to our southeast, but it may very well bring some rain into the east.
