It&#8217;s another super steamy day across the Commonwealth as we track another round of storms toward the state. Some of these may even go severe late today into tonight. A small break in the stormy setup starts next week, but more storms are on the way.<\/p>\n<p>Temps out there today are back into the mid and upper 80s for many with a local 90 showing up. Isolated showers and storms will go up across the region before a late day severe threat shows up across the west and central parts of the state. This is where the Storm Prediction Center has the greatest chance for severe weather&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/public\/state\/images\/KY_swody1.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Damaging winds and large hail are the primary players once again.<\/p>\n<p>A cold front then sweeps in tonight and Sunday with more in the way of showers and storms. This is not a washout by any means as temps drop quickly from northwest to southeast behind the front.<\/p>\n<p>Temps on Monday may not get to the 70 degree mark as low clouds hang in. There&#8217;s still a shower chance in the south and east.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the week looks rather stormy as a slow-moving upper level system works into the region&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"css-9pa8cd\" draggable=\"true\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FTO3VcXWQAAYqjr?format=png&amp;name=medium\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Waves of showers and storms are likely during this time and that may take us into the start of the Memorial Day Weekend.
