<\/p>\nGood Saturday, everyone. It’s another steamy and stormy day taking shape across the state as our 4th of July weekend kicks into high gear. This same pattern looks to continue into the first full week of July as temps heat up even more. There’s a chance at 100 degrees next week as the ghost of 2012 lives on.<\/p>\n
Showers and storms increase today as a cold front slides in from the northwest. Some of these storms may produce damaging winds and hail. The Storm Prediction Center has much of the region in a low-end risk for severe storms…<\/p>\n

These storms will also put down a lot of rain in a short amount of time and that may lead to local high water issues. Steamy temps will be noted outside the storms with upper 80s and low 90s.<\/p>\n
The front sags just to the south on Sunday with temps coming down a bit. We still run the risk for a few storms going up.<\/p>\n
The 4th of July will feature about what you would expect for Independence Day weather. Highs in the upper 80s to low 90s with a storm or two going up.<\/p>\n
From here, we watch the northwestern sky for clusters of strong storms dropping through the Ohio Valley through the rest of the week into the start of next weekend. Here’s how the EURO sees this pattern…<\/p>\n
