Showers and thunderstorms increase across the Commonwealth today and this will likely cause additional flooding issues to develop. There&#8217;s finally some good news showing up in the forecast as a blast of September shows up around here for the upcoming weekend. Woot!<\/p>\n<p>Heavy rain is likely across the state today with another 1&#8243;-3&#8243; possible for some areas. This would be enough to cause flash flood issues to develop through the evening hours. Friday and Saturday look amazing with highs in the 70s and lows dropping deep into the 50s over the weekend. Can we squeeze out a 49 or 50 Saturday morning? Maybe.<\/p>\n<p>Both of those days are dry, but that dry weather likely ends on Sunday as systems drop in from the northwest.
