Good afternoon, everyone. Winds are starting to crank out there but you ain’t seen nothing yet. 40mph-50mph winds are a good bet later tonight and Saturday as a strong cold front works in. This will also bring a line of showers and storms working from west to east over the weekend.<\/p>\n

The winds are, obviously, the biggest player of the weekend weather. Check out some of those gusts through Saturday…<\/p>\n

Let’s get into the setup for the end of next week. It’s a setup featuring a trough in the west trying to kick east into our region. At the same time, a slow-moving system off the southeastern seaboard likely becomes something tropical and heads toward the southeast coast. The National Hurricane Center continues to upgrade the chances for this system…<\/p>\n

The Canadian Model continues to play a full-blown game of hookup between these two and even has some winter weather behind it…<\/p>\n

The GFS isn’t too far away from that, but continues to have issues with spinning up too many systems along the east coast…<\/p>\n

The EURO is too slow ejecting the system out of the southwest…<\/p>\n
