Gusty winds and showers are rolling across the state to kick off the first weekend of December. This is ahead of a push of colder air sweeping in for the rest of the weekend, but my focus is on wet weather coming next week.<\/p>\n<p>Before we get into that, let&#8217;s focus on what&#8217;s going on out there today. We have gusty winds topping 40mph at times and I&#8217;m surprised we don&#8217;t have a Wind Advisory for most of the region. This sets the stage for a seasonably cold day on Sunday with temps ranging from the upper 30s to low 40s with a mix of sun and clouds.<\/p>\n<p>The pattern next week continues to feature a boundary getting in here and slowing down with waves of low pressure rolling along it. That may actually continue into next weekend.
