We&#8217;ve made it to the end of the week and facing a weekend with more in the way of scattered showers and storms. If you&#8217;re sensing a wet trend, you&#8217;ve got a good feel for the pattern and this wetter than normal look is likely to continue.<\/p>\n<p>Temps out there today are in the 80s once again for much of the region with a mix of sun and clouds taking over. The greatest risk is across western Kentucky and that&#8217;s where the Storm Prediction Center has a low-end risk for severe storms&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/partners\/outlooks\/state\/images\/KY_swody2.png?1688664724\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Scattered showers and storms will then continue into Sunday. This animation starts at 8am Saturday and goes through Sunday evening&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/EURO-6.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-60052\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/EURO-6.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Better weather blows in for early next week as we see the jet stream taking some additional big dips through next week into next weekend&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/EURO-2-3.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-60048\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/EURO-2-3.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That will eventually lead us into a pattern for more storms&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/EURO-5.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-60047\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/EURO-5.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This wetter than normal pattern likely continues through the month and may extend into August.
