It&#8217;s another awesome fall weather day that&#8217;s wrapping up and we have another touch of frost on the way tonight. Beyond this, temps climb for a few days before tanking this weekend with a prolonged November pattern settling in.<\/p>\n<p>As expected, frost was out there in some areas with our first 32 degree temp showing up this morning&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">This morning hit the low and middle 30s for many with Meade County hitting the freezing mark. All of this without a Frost Advisory.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the Top 10 lowest of the lows from the Kentucky Mesonet. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/kywx?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#kywx<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ndaaw9KxiU\">pic.twitter.com\/ndaaw9KxiU<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Chris Bailey (@Kentuckyweather) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Kentuckyweather\/status\/1711758445165052100?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 10, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>It looks like another night of the NWS dropping the frosty ball with readings dropping into the 30s with more patchy frost, especially across the northern half of the state&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/WRF.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-61073\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/WRF.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"962\" height=\"760\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/WRF.png 962w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/WRF-300x237.png 300w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/WRF-768x607.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 962px) 100vw, 962px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Temps recover into the 70-75 degree range west with 65-70 for central and eastern Kentucky by Wednesday afternoon with some clouds. There&#8217;s still a small shower chance in the north.<\/p>\n<p>Highs are deep into the 70s for Thursday and Friday before a big fall storm system moves through. Showers and some storms will be noted Friday night with crashing temps and gusty winds for Saturday with a few more showers.<\/p>\n<p>Chilly showers and gusty winds will then be likely into the first half of next week&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/CANADIAN-7.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-61070\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/CANADIAN-7.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s a highly anomalous pattern for the middle of October as yet another monster upper level system digs in&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/CANADIAN-2-3.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-61071\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/CANADIAN-2-3.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is an amazingly stable overall pattern and the GFS Ensembles show this maintaining itself into the start of the final week of October&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GFS-12.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-61072\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GFS-12.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Can we get this to just lock in for November and into winter?
