Milder winds are starting to kick in and will continue through the end of the week. That changes in a hurry by the weekend as another November looking and feeling pattern settles in for an extended stay.<\/p>\n<p>Our day starts with patchy frost, especially in the valleys across the northern half of the state. A few clouds will be noted as the milder air starts to flex from the southwest to the northeast. Mild temps continue into Friday ahead of our storm system rolling in for the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>I have no changes to the overall progression of this setup:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Showers and a few thunderstorms roll into western Kentucky Friday and then across the rest of the state Friday evening into early Saturday.<\/li>\n<li>There\u2019s a low-end chance for a some strong storms with this.<\/li>\n<li>Winds are very gusty during this time and may reach 35-40mph at times.<\/li>\n<li>Wrapround showers show up behind the departing low late Saturday as temps fall through the 60s and into the 50s.<\/li>\n<li>More in the way of wraparound showers will be noted Sunday and Monday on a strong northwest wind flow.<\/li>\n<li>Highs from Sunday into early next week have a really good chance to stay in the 50s.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can see all this on the EURO&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/EURO-2-2.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-61081\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/EURO-2-2.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Watch those upper lows pinwheel through the region all the way into the middle of next week&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/EURO-5.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-61080\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/EURO-5.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"808\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s a very impressive look.<\/p>\n<p>Once that moves out, here comes the next big trough ready to deepen the farther east it gets&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/EURO-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-61079\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/EURO-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"958\" height=\"758\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/EURO-2.png 958w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/EURO-2-300x237.png 300w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/EURO-2-768x608.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 958px) 100vw, 958px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s the EURO for next Friday and the various Ensembles have been signaling a continuation of the eastern trough right on through the end of October.
