Good Wednesday, everyone. Today is always a big day here on KWC as we go full on for Planes, Trains and Automobiles. This holiday classic is set around the Thanksgiving season and we’ve used this busy travel day to have a little PT and A fun when breaking down the weather.<\/p>\n

Planes, Trains and Automobiles is one of my fave movies of all time and, if you haven’t watched it, it’s definitely a full blown two thumbs up from your friendly weatherdude.<\/p>\n

This week, I learned something new about the movie. This movie had a title song that’s never been released, and it was written, and allegedly, recorded by none other than Elton John. Wait… What?!!? According to this 1987 article<\/a> from the LA Times, contractual issues got in the way of the songs release. If it’s out there, here’s hoping it sees the light of day!<\/p>\n

Ok, let’s talk a little weather. Low clouds, mist and a few light showers will be noted across areas of central and eastern Kentucky today. There’s the chance for a few breaks in the clouds in the west and north before the day is through, but a lot of us will struggle with temps in the 40-45 degree range.<\/p>\n

Most of the showers will be too light to show up on radars, but they’re on duty nonetheless\u2026<\/p>\n
