It&#8217;s full steam ahead toward Thanksgiving Day with some lingering clouds likely impacting the temps for parts of the region. I&#8217;m also tracking a system to end the long weekend on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the misty shower action has ended across Kentucky but a shower or two is still going strong across the Virginia counties&#8230;<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-wrap\">\n<div class=\"post-content entry-content\">\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.accuweather.com\/radar-large.asp?partner=netweather&amp;traveler=0&amp;site=KY_&amp;type=SIR&amp;anim=1&amp;level=state&amp;large=1#\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"jetpack-lazy-image jetpack-lazy-image--handled lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" alt=\"\" usemap=\"#largemap\" data-src=\"https:\/\/sirocco.accuweather.com\/nx_mosaic_640x480_public\/sir\/inmaSIRKY_.gif\" data-lazy-loaded=\"1\" \/><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Lingering clouds continue for parts of the region on Thanksgiving day. Temps range from the mid 40s to mid 50s across the state. The Hi Res NAM continues to show more clouds than other models and you can clearly see that on the temp forecast&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/nam-15.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-61939\" src=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/nam-15.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"965\" height=\"760\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/nam-15.png 965w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/nam-15-300x236.png 300w, https:\/\/kyweathercenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/nam-15-768x605.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 965px) 100vw, 965px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A cold front drops in from the northwest on Friday with a healthy north-south temp gradient. 40-45 north and 50-55 south will be a good bet.<\/p>\n<p>Colder winds then settle in for Friday night with lows deep into the 20s.
