Good Saturday evening, gang. As crazy as it sounds on a 70 degree temperature day… snow is on the way. Our cold front slowed down today and this allowed temps to spike. This boundary settles southward across the state this evening as temps tank in a big time way. Throw in a wave of low pressure and you have the increasing threat for a Sunday Snowfall for parts of the state.<\/p>\n

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is out for areas of northern Kentucky…<\/p>\n

\"Warnings\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Much of the accumulation will be on grassy and elevated surfaces. Roads should be decent, but it may come down faster than it can melt for a time. Here’s what I’m expecting…<\/p>\n

\"Special\"<\/a>That’s more snow for areas that are running normal to above in winter snowfall. Areas to the south… it’s plain old rain. Heard that one before? \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

The temp map for Tomorrow will be fun to look at. Readings will be in the 30s across the northern half of the state, as the far south hits 60.<\/p>\n

A surge of warm air fights in for Monday and that allows for the potential for strong or severe thunderstorms to form ahead of a strong cold front. We go into a prolonged stretch of cold weather after that. Yippee.<\/p>\n
