It&#8217;s another ugly day that&#8217;s wrapping up across the Commonwealth with one more, mainly, ugly day left in the month. Things change into February as milder air takes control for the first week and change. Beyond that, here comes winter, again!<\/p>\n<p>Scattered showers, drizzle, a touch of sleet, a touch of snow, and all of the above are showing up this evening. Clouds decrease from southwest to northeast later in the day and through the evening.<\/p>\n<p>This leads us into the 50s for highs Thursday through Saturday with a 60 in the south and west. I will be watching a backdoor cold front dropping in from the northeast. Depending on how far south and west this gets, it may cut into those numbers for parts of the state.<\/p>\n<p>The southern system late this weekend and early next week continues to be a work in progress.
